Hi! I am the Sara of Sara Brookes Design. I love beautiful spaces and firmly believe everyone should—and can have—a home that they are proud of. I have been trying to accomplish this since I was a 9-year-old hooked on Trading Spaces and somehow convinced my mom that we should paint our living room red. While the idea of painting a living room red probably scares most, to me it’s a rush I crave regularly.

I spent years suppressing my desire to design and instead, followed a marketing path as my creative outlet. In 2017 I quit my full time job in pursuit of a way to get into interior design. While studying interior design at the Boston Architectural College and figuring out what my career path would look like, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own business.

When I’m not sourcing beautiful pieces for clients, you can find me at the dog park, out running, hitting the slopes or trying to convince my other half about my latest, great design project for our own home in West Newbury, MA.
